Internal Server error
-
I recieved an email from WordPress asking me to upgrade to WordPress 4.0.1.
When I tried to login at http://totalhealthforall.com/wp-login.php, I revieve the message “Internal Server Error”.I have tried many times over a period of 5 days with the same response every time.
I find it impossible to contact WordPress to get help, advice, support or discover what is causing the problem.
I have been unable to do any work on my site
When I try to get in to my website using the URL http://totalhealthforall.com , I get the message that there is no such site!.
I am intensely frustrated and annoyed that WordPress can not be contactedDoes anyone have a phone number that I can ring or some advice on what to do , PLEASE!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
This site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/
The forum at WordPress.ORG is not connected to WordPress.COM so you will need to open an account at .ORG if you do not already have one. You may use the same email at WordPress.ORG as you do at WordPress.COM.
For more on the difference: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you are asking for help with a WordPress.COM site then we need a link to that site to give you accurate help.

I received this same response from “timewaster” a week or so ago
I even registered with wordpress.org
I pay for WP Hosting and have done for years
I have never had problems before; why now?
As I read it .org is for self hosting . I am going around in circles getting nowhere.
How can I actually speak to a person.
I have NOT been able to access my dashboard or website for 3 weeks
Of all times at Christmas -
Insults will not help you – you are hosted on Godaddy NOT WORDPRESS.COM – there is also no domain mapping
http://www.whois.com/whois/totalhealthforall.com
We can’t give you further help – there is no phone support here and if there was – they would give you the SAME ADVICE as I and Timethief have – I am sorry you will not accept help given in good faith,
If you are hosted here what is the URL of the base blog you need help with? as in my-site.wordpress.com –
I pay for WP Hosting and have done for years
fine an dandy – but you are not paying WordPress.COM for hosting – you are paying someone else

You have received the same correct information over and over. Listen to it.
WordPress.com does not offer WordPress versions with numerals. At all. Never has. Your error is a WordPress.org error. It relates to a WordPress.org blog.

Godaddy has a phone number – why not call them if you want so bad to talk with a person on the phone?
-
I apologise if you thought I was being insulting.
I am just frustrated
GoDaddy were the first people I contacted and spoke to a person
They told me that WP was my hosting person and that I would have to contact them.
I am confused !!!????
My login is WordPress Admin Login URL: http://totalhealthforall.com/wp-login.php
Can you explain where I am going wrong in all this -
@williamwarr, Dec 28, 2014, 10:58 PM
I even registered with wordpress.org
Then, please ask WordPress.org for help. At the support page provided to you above by auxclass, and by others previously: http://wordpress.org/support/.

Can you explain where I am going wrong in all this
Listening to Goddaddy support –
look at the whois link – your name servers are not pointed here and there is no domain mapping and you don’t seem to have a base blog
your-site.wordpress.com
If you are really hosted here you will have a base blog that has the log-in with “wordpress.com” in it

Thank you to all those who tried to help me with my ” Internal Server Error ” problem
I was “going around in circles ” as I put it and getting nowhere because I had been given WRONG information by a GoDaddy rep right at the beginning.
I eventually found a young man at GoDaddy who knew what he was talking about- the problem was resolved in no time. The other issue was that I am an older blogger (aged 85 actually) who did not have the advantage of growing up with computers like so many of you did. I am still learning the ropes re Internet Marketing, so to speak. It has been a steep learning curve.
Please be patient with some of us who sometimes seem to ask “dumb” questions. We may not be as knowledgable -computer wise- as you.
New year best wishes to you all

Happy New Year. Just a word of advice: never assume anything about the ages of anyone you may be dealing with online. Never.
