internal server error

    Still struggling with setting my site up. When from the dashboard I click to reach my site, I have been getting the following error:

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    When trying to customize the site, I’m unable to change the menu items to the right of my site such as archives, categories, meta.

    Howdy.

    What is the address of your site? From the problem you describe, I’m wondering if it’s a self-hosted WordPress installation, rather than one hosted here on WordPress.com.

    If that’s the case, you would want to contact your hosting provider, or take the question to the WordPress community for the self-hosted sites at this link.
