Internal Server Error 500

    I changed the address in my wordpress url setting
    after I save, the website is down.
    can not access to the dashborad.

    the message appears below:

    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator at (email visible only to moderators and staff) to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    i have tried the ftp client using Filezilla, changing the file .htaccess method
    but did not work out.

    I have no clue about the coding, please help

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another host.

    Changing the domain on a stand-alone WordPress site like yours has to follow a specific process. You can find the documentation for that process here, though many hosting providers have their own process for this via their hosting control panel.
