Internal server error

    Hi, every time I try to log into my blog dashboard a message appears on my screen that reads this:

    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
    Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    I am worried about my site as I have just received emails about people registering to my site and I do not know how that happened. Being new to this I may have clicked or said yes to something I shouldn’t have. Please help!

    It looks like you are working with a self-hosted WordPress.org site (with iPage) instead of the WordPress.com-hosted version supported here.

    I would recommend searching on the WordPress.org support forums for an answer to this, as someone has likely had a similar issue. If you cannot find anything that works, you can start your own thread. The forums are completely separate from each other, so you will need to register an account there if you haven’t done so already.
