Hi there – I have not been able to access my site, it keeps on showing error even on public platform. I checked with domain and there is no problem there. I was informed that the site is hosted on Amazon. I have no knowledge of this. Is WordPress linked to Amazon by any chance?

No, WordPress.com (where we are now) and WordPress.org (providing open source WordPress software) are not linked to Amazon.

I was informed that the site is hosted on Amazon.
To add a bit more details here which may be helpful in addition to the tips that staff-zara gave. Amazon has a division named AWS (Amazon Web Services) which is used by many to host WordPress sites around the world. Sites hosted on WordPress.com use our own datacenters and not those provided by Amazon.
However, you may want to contact your host or hosting contact to see if they can help you get your AWS site back online. If you would like to move your site to WordPress.com see this guide:
