"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" when I try to access dashboard

Starting sometime today, I started getting the “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage” error page every time I try to access Manage Comments or any other part of my Dashboard, including the main Dashboard page itself. I can still access the rest of the Internet, comment on other people’s WordPress blogs, and even read my own WordPress blog, but I can’t approve others’ comments.
I have to admit that I’m still using Internet Explorer 8. (I can’t upgrade to 9 on my current computer.) I’m hoping this problem doesn’t have to do with that; I hope this doesn’t mean that I’ll never be able to manage my blog again from this computer.

I’m sorry you’re encountering that problem.
Can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies to see if that helps?
