Internet Explorer Intermittent issues connecting to admin console

  I note: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/ and I have cookies enabled
  sometimes IE (latest version) works fine and others not on the same computer on the same day. I use the old version because the new editor is worse IMO.

  I get the following error only when trying to access the wordpress.com site (every other site is fine)

  This page can’t be displayed

  •Make sure that the web address https://mysite.wordpress.com is correct.
  •Look for the page with your search engine.
  •Refresh the page in a few minutes

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
