Internet Explorer suddenly refusing to open sound files

  My blog has a couple of pages where I post songs performed by my daughters. For example:

  Everything has been working perfectly in all browsers until a few days ago when Internet Explorer began giving me the following error message whenever I try to play one of the sound files:

  “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage”

  Firefox, however, continues to work perfectly. I have made no changes to IE (with one exception), nor do I believe that any have been made via Microsoft Update. The one exception is that I briefly installed then removed Google Gears.

  Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated.

  I meant to add that I’ve tried the obvious things like clearing the cache and getting rid of all cookies.
