Internet explorer will not load on Hospital intranet on several/all computers

  Word press on hospital intranet does not work whereas it worked previously

  I have tried accessing blog from my hospital computer but internet explorer starts and then hangs; closes; restarts, hangs etc.
  Previously this worked and IT cannot find a problem.
  Any suggestions?

  Hi there,

  Can you let me know what version of Internet Explorer you’re running at the hospital? Also, can you let me know if you can load WordPress.com directly (just entering WordPress.com into the URL bar) or access the following page?

  Just checked.
  Internet explorer 8 on my machine and colleagues machine
  Can access wordpress.com
  but going onto revdavidsouthall.com just results in ie failing trying to restart and failing again.
  Sounds like an internal intranet problem to me.
  Are there any settings that I can adjust?

  Hey David,

  I’m not aware of any setting at WordPress.com that would cause IE8 to fail to display your site. Just to be sure, can you try loading this demo site here?

  http://twentytwelvedemo.wordpress.com/

  I want to make sure that this isn’t specifically restricting your site.

  Last test – can you check the following two sites?

  http://coralinedemo.wordpress.com/

  http://groovydomains.net/

  If both of those load correctly, we shouldn’t be experiencing trouble with your site. Can you make sure you’re loading your site as http://revdavidsouthall.com and not https://revdavidsouthall.com (http vs. https)?
