Internet Explorere errors

I apologize if this has been covered, but I couldn’t find any answers by searching the forum. Every time I – or anyone else – clicks on a particular page on my site, where I’ve uploaded PDFs, I get the dreaded “Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience” message. Any ideas what the problem could be? I realize it’s likely as easy as viewing the site in another browser, however I have to send the link to perspective employers.

want to give us a link to the page?

ive encountered this before on none WP.com sites. It usually comes down to a problem with the Adobe Reader plugin that IE uses, it tries to start up so as it can open the PDF in the IE Window, but crashes, thus causing IE to crash. As a test, instead of clicking the link, try right clicking . ‘save as…’ and see if that works. Also update to the latest IE updates and the latest Adobe updates.

On computers without a lot of RAM, PDFs are the mark of Satan. They routinely crash my computer. It could just be whatever causes that is crashing their browsers.

Really? I just commented on how I didn’t want to bring up that site with all the javascripts on this terminal but I have no issue with pdfs here.

    Strange…

I’ve always had an issue with PDFs on both computers, and they each have 64 meg of RAM, which is about the only point of commonality. There are vast reams of government papers I haven’t read but should have; haven’t, because they’re all PDFs.
