Internet keyword and domain name issue

  Dear Madam/Sir,

  Recently I have received these two emails from Frank Liu (Chinaregistry.com.cn) and his client Gareth Qi. I dont know if what they do is correct, and so I am forwarding their emails to you to draw your attention.

Even though Mr. Frank Liu advises us to change another name, we will persist in this name.

  This company is not my distributor or business partner in China. This company should not use yaochenmusic as their internet keyword or Cn domain name. yaochenmusic has been registered with wordpress.com, which is an American company.

But after checking it, we find this name conflict with your company name or trademark.   Hi there,

  I believe this company would like to know if you would be interested in purchasing the following domains:

  yaochenmusic.com.cn
  yaochenmusic.net.cn
  yaochenmusic.org.cn

  If you don’t want to, then I wouldn’t pay too much attention to this. I’ve seen quite a few users ask about this same exact email.

  Please note though that the domains above are separate domains. Someone can purchase those. I can’t speak to the legitimacy of these emails and if someone really wants to purchase those domains, but if you want to make sure that no one purchases those domains, please make sure to use a reputable company.
