    How do I contact WordPress directly? As I assume even though this is independent research as the blog is owned by wordpress I will have to have consent from here?

    Of what blog are you speaking? We do not own the sites created by users of WordPress.com. Those sites belong to the users who create them, and we are merely the service provider.

    So you are the owner of http://thelittlelondongirlblog.wordpress.com/, and as long as you adhere to our terms of service and user guidelines, you do not need any additional consent form us for anything you do on that site.
