Inuit Featured Images Not Appearing – Was Working

  My featured images are not appearing on my home page in Inuit. This just happened today–it was perfect yesterday and even this AM I believe.

  I have noticed that we are now getting forum posts from member about featured images disappearing. So far this has happened on Structure and on Inuit Types. I’m thinking Staff may be working on theme templates and they may in fact be causing this. I’m flagging this thread and the other for Staff attention.

  I’m also seeing that on mine. It’s an Inuit template as well. The featured image is visible in the dashboard during edit, but not on the front page attached to the headline.

  I’ve just had the same problem with my blog. Feature images stopped displaying just a few minutes ago.

  I’m also using Inuit and cannot get my featured images to show on the home page of my blog. They were working yesterday, and are also visible when I’m in my dashboard editing a post. If anyone needs to look at my blog to check this: http://www.fitforreallife.com

  I’m using Inuit Types with a static page.
  My featured images appear OK on my posts page which I’ve titled ‘Story’.

  If you had taken care to upload images presized to the right dimensions, you probably wouldn’t be having this problem. See here:

  I just spent 1 hour on this thinking I messed something up, as I was tweaking a few things…Guess not…

  Same problem! Again, Inuit! It was all fine in the homepage, and now all featured images disappeared. I haven’t changed any settings…
  
  @panaghiotisadam I always prepare all featured images to exact dimensions before uploading, so guess this is not the problem.

  Hope it’s only a fixing behind the scene. Or, any other ideas?

  @meltse: Yes you’re right. Other users are complaining about the same thing in Structure, in Structure correct dimensions does solve the problem, so I guessed it might be the same with Inuit before actually trying this in Inuit as well. My bad!

  I have the same problem (Inuit)
  But if you un-ckick the: “Show featured posts in one column instead of default two columns” the problem disappear.

  so obviously it’s Inuit’s backdoor problem! Hope they can fix this in no time!

  I just went and tweaked my featured image sizes (which were 4 pixels off) and I am still not working in Inuit. http://artofnaturalliving.com

  My featured images are all sized correctly, and I’m still having issues. I don’t think it’s a problem with image dimensions.

  Yeah, I’ve been very careful with getting the image size exactly correct. I use a template that has the correct pixels.

  I noticed that I tried to update last night and was told there was “server maintenance” which stopped me updating for a few minutes.

  I suspect therefore that it is WordPress that has changed something.

  @All: it’s definitely a glitch, as the same thing is being reported for (at least) Structure and Inyuit Types as well, only in those two themes if the images had been pre-sized to the correct dimensions the problem doesn’t show up.

  @meltse: Comments disappearing from where exactly?

  I just put out a new post with the name “Pardon Our Dust – WordPress is Having Tech Difficulties”. Not sure what else to do. The pictures (which are correctly sized) are what makes this theme so attractive.
