Inuit Type – comments

  Hi!

  I was wondering if there is a way to omit the number of comments posts have from appearing on the homepage next to the titles. The zeros make me sad. :)

  It could be hidden with the Custom Design upgrade using CSS.

  Thanks! I did the upgrade awhile ago, but I’m not familiar with CSS and I’m a little afraid of messing with it. Maybe I can find instructions online.

  Do not look online as what you find will not be helpful. All CSS editing on free hosted WordPress.com blogs is theme specific. If you have the custom design upgrade then you have full Staff support. I’ll flag this thread so it gets moved to the CSS forum and Staff help you there.

  To omit the number of comments *just* on the home page in the Inuit Types theme:

  Use this for the Featured Posts area:

  .home .wrapper .container .content .boxed_posts .featured_post .featured_content h2 span.comments-feat {
       display: none;
  }

  And this for the regular posts area:

  .home .wrapper .container .content .boxed_posts .post .date-comments .fr span.comments {
      display: none;
  }
