Inuit Type Help

  I am trying to set up a blog, i am using Inuit Type theme.I want in menu section not only static pages about my categories,how to do this.When i click on Home tab, it does not lead to home page now it leads to page where it says edit.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Since the site is private, we volunteers cannot see it.

  To have categories as well as pages, set up a custom menu and there you can put all of that and more.

  On the home page issue, unless I can see things, I’m afraid I can’t even really guess.

  You have created a page called “home.” Were you looking to have a static front page on your site, or were you wanting the blog posts to show on the main page?

  Can i have a menu like this
  Home(Where it shows latest post) About us (Static Page) and Categories tab like Indie & Fest, where if user clicks it leads to all posts filed under that category

  Yes. Delete the page called “home” that you created. Next, create the custom menu and include the pages and categories that you want. If in the pages module at custom menu, there is not a “home” page showing, click the “view all” link at the top of that module and the “home” selection will appear. Add that and it will link back to the normal home page with the posts.

  i did that. i made categories and added page also but then also i can see the static pages not categories.

  can you pls pls guide me, my emailid is (email visible only to moderators and staff),is it fine with you if i give u admin rights can u make the changes 4 me

  Go back to the custom menu page and in the “primary location” pulldown in the theme location module at top left, select the custom menu you created and then click save.

  Thanks it is working now,But i am now unable to see the static page.I added subcategories like Recco of the week, under madaboutmoviezspecial, i wanted it to be dropdown like if someone goes browses ourmadaboutmoviez, can i have dropdown for Recco for the week

  Look in the custom menu support page I referenced and it explains how to make dropdowns.

  Also, any categories that you put into the menu that do not have at least one published post assigned to them will return 404 file not found errors since there are no posts for wordpress to display.
