Inuit Types – two column alignment with long post titles

    Hi Everyone,
I’m very new to blogging, and also have minimal techie skills so v. grateful for any advice! I’ve just started a blog using the Inuit Types theme. Ideally I’d like to display posts on the homepage in two columns but I’m finding that when one of the titles is longer in one post than the other than don’t align up in the two column format, so that the featured image/text of one starts lower than the other. For example, see Agatha Christie vs Elizabeth Taylor on http://www.rhymingcouplets.com
I’ve tried putting extra paragraph breaks at the top in the html of the post with the shorter title but this doesn’t have any effect on the front page. I’m guessing there is no way to avoid this misalignment (I don’t have CSS upgrade, wouldn’t know where to start with it!) but just wondering if anyone knew a way round it (not sure if long post titles are a good idea in SEO terms anyway, haven’t looked into this yet so maybe I should be keeping them short anyway)? Many thanks
