Invalid Activation Code
-
When I clicked the link to activate I got a page that showed the html code instead of the page.
But, it still sent me my password, so I got logged in.
However, it won’t let me do anything. It welcomes me, but when I try to go to “My Account”, or try to post something, it just tells me “Invalid Activation Code”

What is your mail client?
Have you tried cutting and pasting the activation code from your email to your browser?
What browser are you using? OS?
-
I use Firefox. WinXP. Gmail.
It opened the link, but the html was broken on that page. I hit reload and it told me, at that time, that my activation code worked, and it sent me the email with the password.
I logged in. It let me log in. Then when I tried to go to “My Account” it said Invalid Activation Key.
So, I went back to the original email and went to that link again, and it tells me This blog is already active.
I tried asking it send me another password, thinking maybe that would reset whatever is not set right, but that didn’t help, either.

Try contacting Automattic directly to see if they can do a manual setup for you. You may also want to try the cutting and pasting method I suggest. I have a feeling that you’re running GMail is HTML mode instead of text mode which may be eating bart of the activation code.
Good luck,
