Invalid activation key.

  I am unable to preview a theme or a post on my blog. It loads a page that says “Invalid activation key.’ I have tried to clear my cookies and cache.

  There are over 31 million. I cannot attest to everyone of us being affected. I can simply state that there have been so many threads posted on this issue that I have popsted into for several hours now that the issue is obviously widepread. I suggest taking a break for a few hours and returning. Hopefully, Staff will have repaired that problem by then.

  I have this problem too…and its after 6pm Mountain Time, more than a “few hours” since the last suggestion to “take a break for a few hours and return.
  Not a good start to my first impression of the site (having just subscribed for the first time yesterday).

  We identified and corrected the issue. The affected blogs are each being fixed individually.

  If yours has not been fixed yet, it should be in a few hours.

  There’s a wide-spread issue evidenced by the multiple active threads on the front page of this forum and beyond reporting the same issue since yesterday morning.   If MULTIPLE posts have been flagged for staff attention, why are they NOT addressing the issue???? The least WordPress staff could do is send out an email or post a notification in the forum that it’s AT LEAST being dealt with.

  LAME!!! I can only imagine how many people have moved over to Blogger. Shame on WordPress.

  adeanab, we have all addressed the issue. Just look for the replies from members listed as “Happiness Engineer” or “Staff”.

  The script running to fix all of the affected blogs failed about half-way through.

  We are already aware of all affected blogs, so if yours has not been fixed yet, it will be in a few hours.
