My blog disappeared from the menu on my website, and when I checked the Menu under Appearances it says Blog (Invalid). Clearly the link has gone wrong although I’ve done nothing to it. My question is how do I fix this?

    Thanks

    Hi @patsyt,
You should find your Blog under the Pages box in left side of the Appearance -> Menus 👇

If you find that, select it and ‘Add to Menu’ again and save the menu.

    Thanks

    Hi Patsy,

As noted here, we do not host the site patsytrench.com so we are not able to take a closer look. We use a different version from what is in use at Siteground (a custom version optimized for our managed WordPress hosting) and so our support tools do not connect to sites on other providers.

If you are looking for help on an ongoing basis, we would be happy to have you. Our in-house support is always able to take a look at WordPress sites hosted on WordPress.com directly. You can use this plugin to migrate in a few clicks:

Unfortunately as it stands now we are not able to take a look at your menus issue. The good news is that help is available here in the community forums for the version of WordPress that your host uses: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

In the end I solved this problem myself, very simply. For anyone else with the same issue: I simply added my most recent blog post to my main menu, changed the title from the title of the post to Blog, and Bob’s your uncle.
