Invalid character in site name

  Hi, I just want to use the domain ‘α.news’ but the system seems to reject it.

  I also tried with ‘xn--mxa.news’ which is the alphanumeric write of α.news, but the system also rejects it.

  So, can I use wordpress for my domain ?

  Yes I’m the owner, and I have trouble connecting to a paid plan. I’m not sure that WordPress supports exotic characters in domain names, so I prefer to ask before I subscribe, because right now the system rejects my name
