Invalid Email Address

I can log into wordpress with my email and password, which are verified in my account settings. However, when I click ‘customize’, it asks for me to log in again, and when I put in my email and password that worked for my original login, it says that the email address cannot be found. What is the issue?

Hi there,
Your site is not using WordPress.com, but the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org. You can manage your site via My Sites in WordPress.com because it is connected to your WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin.
However, to access the Customizer you need to be logged into your site’s WP-Admin dashboard, which uses a completely different admin username and password set directly in the site’s database. You should have received an email with those login details when you first installed the WordPress software at your hosting provider.
