Invalid Feed Issue in Google Webmaster

    I am having a problem with my site RSS feed being declared invalid in Google Webmaster tools. It shows parsing errors and shows not a single url to crawl. While RSS feed validators says its a valid feed and all right. SEE http://beta.feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A//chantingbudha.wordpress.com/feed

    Any advice is welcome and Thanks in advance for your precious little time and skill-full advice.

    http://ismyblogworking.com/chantingbudha.wordpress.com – also confirms that your feed is fine.

    Sounds like a problem with Webmaster Tools. What exactly do the errors say?

    Forgive me for asking, but why do you want to submit the feed and not the sitemap?

    I just ran into the same problem. I submitted the sitemap as well. Webmaster Tools found the feed and asked if I wanted to add it so I did as well. The errors it returned were:

    You don’t need to submit your sitemap to Google. Google already knows about it.

    Actually Google allows blogs feed url be submitted as sitemap so in the past it was working OK but from some 2-3 months back it is coming out as invalid sitemap url. I think it is related with google webmaster upgradation issues. As everyone must be aware here that they have updated there webmaster pages. Personally I haven’t liked there upgradation because it is showing lesser backlinks even while it was in beta mode. And this sitemap thing has made me even more to dis like the update.
