Invalid key error message: forget your password feature

  After upgrading to WordPress 4.0 I am getting invalid key error after
  getting the email from the Lost Password feature. I have cleared
  cache, cookies, disabled javascript, changed the SALTS section in wpconfig.php. I was using SB Welcome Email plugin. I use IE and have tried Firefox. I had thought it was SB Welcome Email. I deactivated it and it still happens. I have tried many things… No luck….I have read many posts on the issue and a few people have had it. Any ideas? Dave

  This is the WordPress.COM support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM and we provide support only for blogs hosted by WordPress.COM.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
