invalid payment for matching domains

    I have tried paying by credit card (visa) and also paypal but I get an invalid payment message for both. Nothing else comes up just says invalid payment.

    I have already tried clearing the cache. I have checked and the domain i want to map is registered to me (moretortoisethanhare.com.au). I live in asutralia so unsure what else could be wrong? Do not believe that Australia has any restrictions.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    It might be the .com.au address that’s the problem. I flagged this for staff to sort out.

    Hi there!

    Sorry to hear about the trouble you’re having during your purchase.

    There may be a number of reasons why you could be getting an error while making a credit card payment, and it could be one or more of the following:

    * Credit Card hasn’t been activated yet
    * Closed credit card account
    * Account is over the limit
    * Account is past due
    * Automated fraud alert

    The last one is the most common, and a quick call to your bank telling them about your purchase on WordPress.com should sort out the problem. Please try that first and see if you’re able to pay with your credit card. You may also pay using a debit card with the Mastercard or Visa logo on it. If you’re using Paypal funds, make sure that you have enough funds to cover the cost of the upgrade.
