Invalid Security Certificate
-
I recently mapped my existing domain to my WordPress.com site. Periodically I am seeing connection errors from Firefox and Chrome indicating that ‘site uses an invalid security certificate’ or ‘website sent back unusual or incorrect credentials’. The situation seems to clear itself over time, but has reappeared. Any suggestions as to what might be causing this, and what I can change or update?

Hello, I can see you have managed to solve. Do you have any suggestions?
I’m experiencing similar issues. I haven’t made any changes to the site at all. But If people click on a link to my site this “your connection is not private” message appears.
It also says: “This server could not prove that it is http://www.lucianaslanguages.wordpress.com; its security certificate is from *.wordpress.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.”
If I type the address in the browser I can access the site normally…
