Add topic to favorites
I just started getting this message: The requested URL “/”, is invalid.

Reference #9.40f1160.1264489510.30a60e3 If I try to go to my website, http://www.sicilyislandhills.wordpress.com

If I go to the site on my iPhone it works ok. I use Windows XP Home with Firefox.
If I use IE it doesn’t go there either.

Please advise on solutions

Get yid of the “www”. No wordpress.com blog contains “www”. Try the correct URL it’s http://sicilyislandhills.wordpress.com

First off WP.com blogs URLs don’t start with “www” the starting prefix is http:// without the “www”

I landed on your blog just fine using Firefox 3.6 and no warning came up for me I suggest flushing your cache and browser cookies and to re-try visiting your blogs link minus having the “www” in the URL.

www. is not the problem.

This is a gateway error. It’s not generated by WordPress.com, but by an external cache or proxy. Probably Akamai.

Clearing your browser’s cache might help. Visiting https://sicilyislandhills.wordpress.com might also (https instead of http).

Thanks for all the suggestions. Clearing the cache and cookies seemed to do the trick. I have for 10 months used www with the url and it never was a problem till last night. I also last night could not access the dashboard, which I failed to mention. Before I cleared the cache and cookies I could access via http://sicilyislandhills.wordpress.com but now www is working again and I can use the dashboard.
