Invalid username, but not on all sites

    I use my WP account as a means of logging on to blogs I read and commenting on those blogs. I currently have two blogs open in two tabs, both WP blogs. On one, I’m shown as being logged in with my username. On the other, I’m not logged in, and when I try to do so, I get “username invalid”. ??? I’ve registered with WP.org as well now, same username, but to no avail. I can’t log in to this blog I’ve got up onscreen. Any ideas why? Am I making a fundamental mistake somewhere? I never had problems in the past, just the last couple of days, and I haven’t changed anything apart from updating Firefox. Could that be the problem?
