Invalid username or password with miniOrange plugin while using on WordPress.com eCommerce license
-
Hi,
We are configuring the miniOrange Rest API Authentication plugin where we are configuring the Basic Authentication, but we are getting the following error when our credentials are still correct.
{
‘status’: ‘error’,
‘error’: ‘INVALID_CREDENTIALS’,
‘code’: ‘400’,
‘error_description’: ‘Invalid username or password.’
}We went through this thread as well, where it is mentioned that we should not have special characters in the password.
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/login-with-special-characters-does-not-work-password-problem/So, we created a different Admin user and set a simple password (without special characters), but it’s still not working.
The same happened while configuring JWT configuration too with the miniOrange plugin. Please suggest.
Thanks

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out.
Are you able to confirm the URL of the website that you need assistance with please?

Thanks for that!
Since this is a site with the WordPress.com eCommerce plan and the site has not been launched yet, we’re not able to access it on the free support forums.
Please log into the Administrator account that owns the upgrade and contact our priority support team through your account page:
https://wordpress.com/help/contact
They’ll be able to look at your site’s backend and better advise on the problem you’re having.
I hope that helps!
