invalid validation key

  I set up a blog yesterday, and I pressed the validation link mailed to me, but whenever I try to click on “About” or “Home” or a post, I get thrown to https://signup.wordpress.com/activate/5baa90dc93b47626/ with a message on the top saying “invalid activation key.” What do I do?

  There’s a wide-spread issue evidenced by the multiple active threads on the front page of this forum and beyond reporting the same issue for the last 24 hours.   We identified and corrected the issue yesterday, but all affected blogs needed to be fixed individually.

  Unfortunately, the script running to fix all of the affected blogs failed about half-way through.

  We are already aware of all affected blogs, so if yours has not been fixed yet, it will be in a few hours.
