  Hi, I am wanting to know what sort of inventory management you offer with your commerce plan? For instance, will I be able to track all sales from other platforms with it or is strictly for wordpress? Can it be automated with a difference software and what is typically the best software to automate it with?

  Happy to help you with this.

  On WordPress.com we recommend using WooCommerce which has built-in inventory management features to manage and track inventory levels for products. At a basic level this is handled by a SKU number: https://woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/#sku

  For instance, will I be able to track all sales from other platforms with it or is strictly for wordpress? 

  They typically allow tracking inventory across multiple channels, including external platforms, through APIs or integrations with third-party services – of which there would need to be additional plugins to facilitate that – what are you looking to integrate with exactly?

  Can it be automated with a difference software and what is typically the best software to automate it with?

  It depends on the above, and what those platforms use – they may have automation in mind and built in.

  Zapier is usually a good place to look at automations and integrations, but I think before we get to that, let’s scope out what you’re looking to use.
