Invert colors of rollover function

  Hello!

  I successfully changed the background color and font color of the menu bar (to white and black, respectively) using code from this forum (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/change-menu-color?replies=6#post-628913). But now the rollover effect naturally is gone… How do I change the colors of the rollover function so that the white menu bar turns black and the black text (Home, About etc.) turns white when I point at it? I have been looking for the answer on this forum and I’ve tried out some code, but I haven’t been able to find out how to do the right changes…

  Add this to your custom CSS.

  #access li:hover > a, #access a:focus {
  background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #000000 !important;
  color: #FFFFFF;
  }
