Invisible to Google after 8 months

    Hi, after 8 months and 15 posts, my blog (https://calhoungenealogy.wordpress.com) still does not show up in Google searches (at any rank). I am getting referrals through other engines like Bing and DuckDuckGo, but not Google. Privacy setting is “Public” and the “discourage indexing” box is unchecked. After several months, I followed the WordPress guidelines to verify the site with Google Search Console using an HTML tag (at https://wordpress.com/support/site-verification-services/), but that has not helped. There are also apparently inbound links to the site from other pages, but I’m not adept enough with websites to find exactly where they are. Is there something about the structure of the site that is problematic for Google? Thanks for any help!
