Invitation fails

Hi there
For several days I try to add editors to my blog (gletscherg2g.wordpress.com) and it fails. I’m the administrator of the blog. I created (for student groups) for each editor to be invited a separate gmail email account and a wordpress account (e.g. editor x). I invite from my blog editor x. Editor x receives and confirms the invitation from my side. However, editor x could not connect to the blog. On the administrator side the invitation for editor x is still pending. As the administrator I do not receive a confirmation email, saying that the invitation for editor x has been accepted (this worked only in one of seven cases). The blog, editor x should work on, does not appear in his dashboard. I read in another comment, that the invited user should unfollow the blog, but this doesn’t change anything. Thanks in advance for your support!!

Was editor X logged into their WordPress.com account when they clicked the “accept” email? If not, could you have them try logging in and THEN clicking?

Great, thanks a lot for your help. Yes, I resent the invitation as administrator and log gin as editor x. After activating the invitation email, editor x is redirected to the blog and as administrator I received the “invitation accepted”-email. Cheers.
