Invitation is invalid

  Hi
  I invited my brother to my blog but when he clicked on the link in the email it told him that the invitation was invalid.
  I don’t know why, and don’t know what else to do now.
  Can you help me?

  Hi @fpendle, happy to help. Have you tried sending a new invite yet? Also, can you clarify which site you’re adding him to, and what his username or email address is? If you’ll type the address here, it will be hidden from everyone but staff. We can use that to look for more info.

  I have sent a new invite but not heard back from him yet (he’s in a different time zone).
  I’m adding him to francespendle.wordpress.com and his email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Ok, that email doesn’t currently belong to a WordPress.com account, so if they run into any trouble, make sure they know that they have to create an account first.

  (that will be part of their invite flow, but just in case) :)
