Invitation Issue for New Author

  I sent an email invitation to a friend of mine to write for my blog, but he said when he tried to enter his password (the email address is an already existing one for WordPress), he said it wouldn’t let him log in. Is there anything special we should do to try to fix it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Have the user request a new password by entering your email address here:

  http://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

  Please follow the instructions carefully. You’ll receive an email during the reset process, so please make sure you read it for instructions. If you don’t receive the email right away, check your spam folder as well because the confirmation email can end up there.

  Once the user does that let me know if your friend still has issues with accepting the user invite.
