Invitations did not work

  I sent out invitations to 18 individuals. Two of these were with ‘author’ role, the rest as ‘contributors’. The ‘contributor’ invitations were sent as a group of 10 emails separated with commas, and a group of 5. The two sent as ‘authors’ accepted and show as users in the console. One of the ‘contributor’ invitations was accepted but does not show up as a user. One other individual sent a request to join, and was able to like a post, but again this person does not show up as a user in the console. I needed to know who has registered as it’s a private secure site. Is the WordPress functionality not working?
