  How can I invite the friends mentioned above to my site without getting closed down because of ‘spam’?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  We limit you to ten invitations at a time, but you can invite as many people as you want. You just can’t invite them all at once.

  Invite the first ten, wait half an hour, and then invite the next ten, and so on. Also note that there’s a limit on the number of pending invitations you can have. If you hit that limit you’ll need to wait for some people to first accept their invitations, or otherwise you need to cancel some open invitations, before you can send new ones.

  You can also consider creating your own newsletter for your site using a third party service like MailChimp, and add these emails to a mailing list there instead (provided you have permission from all those people to add them to such a list)
