Invite an Admin

I have 4 blogs that are connected and one that is not. I am trying to add myself as an Admin to the unconnected blog (darrellawards.wordpress.com) and have sent myself (timgatewood) an invitation twice now. Both times, it shows up in my inbox and I click on the link, which takes me to the log-in page. I log in and there is nothing there to confirm or accept the invitation. When I check the users, it is only showing the original one. PLEASE HELP! What am I missing?

Clicking the email link is the confirmation. There’s no additional step after logging in to WordPress.
Also note the Users section only shows users for the specific blog you’re viewing at that moment. If you’re logged in as timgatewood the darrelawards site should appear on the My Blogs page in the WP-Admin dashboard. If you see it there, then timgatewood has been added as a user to that blog.
If you don’t see it on the My Blogs page, try the following: Log in to the darrellawards blog and send the invitation again (if the previous one is showing as pending, delete it first). Then log out of that account and clear your browser cache and cookies.
Next, log in to the timgatewood account. After logging in to that account, go to that account’s email and click the link in the invitation email.
