invite author – getting errors

  Hello,

  I hold the administrator account at http://comicbookblog.com. I’ve invited several folks to become authors and all of the ones that want to do it have been able to accept the invite EXCEPT one: kingsmythe. he kept trying to accept but he kept getting an error:

  User kingsmythe Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested

  he then created a second user, waylandksmith, but i can’t send this user an invite as it is not recognized.

  Is there an WP admin that can just set kingsmythe or waylandksmith as an ‘author’ on comicbookclog.com? what else can we try?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I am getting a similar problem inviting users to join my site – I sent the invite message and when two of the people get the email inviting to join they click on ACCEPT INVITATION – log in to wordpress but there is no link to my site so they can post – using the ” Trouble clicking? Copy and paste this URL into your browser: “
  text at the bottom of the email does not work either –
  going to my site and logging in from there does not connect them as authors either – other people have been able to join as authors who receive dthe same email invite – any options? thanks

  The links almost always work, but if you have a couple that are being stubborn for whatever reason, I’m happy to add the users to your site manually. You can post the names of the users here, or if you’d rather not post them in public, let me know and I’ll open a private support ticket and help you with getting the users added there.
