Invite new follower

  I would like to invite people to follow my blog but “Invite new” is not visible when I hover over User in my dashboard. Is this an old option that has now been discontinued? If not, why do I not have this option?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Check what permissions you have, if you are a contributor rather than signed in under the blog owner account for instance you might not have the option.

  In Users, All Users you will be able to see your permissions

  I am signed in as the admin, but all that shows under Users is All Users, Add New, Your Profile, and Approve New Users. There is no Invite New so I don’t know how I am supposed to invite someone. I am using the most recent version of Word Press 4.1.1.

  Was just wondering if being a user of WordPress.org, as opposed to WordPress.com, makes a difference in inviting followers. Will the Invite New show up for WordPress.org site owners?

  This is the wordpress.com support site, I’m not sure about wordpress.org
