Invite new user not working?

  I had to open an account (and private blog) under my pen name so as to their name as an administrator so my author name doesn’t show up on post/pages etc. But it doesn’t work. After several accepted invites, the pen name is still not listed in Users.

  What’s going wrong?

  I have exactly the same problem at modcls/wordpress.com (a restricted-access site). I invite new user, new user accepts, new user does NOT appear in the list of users.

  Also, so much functionality seems to have disappeared. No updates, no themes, no plugins… Is this something different between wp.org and wp.com? Do I need to port my site over to .org?
