Invite/add a user without having to create a wordpress.com website for him/her

  Hello,

  I wonder if it’s possible to add (=invite) another user for my blog but it does not want to create an account blabla(dot)wordpress(dot)com ?? He will just become another blog writer among one blog but not an owner of another blog.

  For in the invitation mail, this person is obliged to choose a domain name blabla(dot)wordpress(dot)com!

  There should be an option when they set up their account name to not have a blog – a blog name is reserved for the account name – people in the forum have said the “get a blog” option is a bit in your face at times –

  Indeed, there is a mention of the right of the blog name field when creating a wordpress account :

  Choose an address for your blog. You can change the WordPress.com address later. If you don’t want a blog you can sign up for just a username.
