Invite/create several viewers to a private blog

    I have a private blog and I want 300 employes to be able to view and comment – but not to post. They don’t have a WordPress profile.

    What is the best way to create profiles/usernames in bulk before inviting the viewers?

    I have their email addresses.

    You can invite them to be viewers of your blog, by going to the Dashboard > Users > Invite New page:

    You can add their email addresses there (10 at a time), and they will receive an email invitation to sign up for an account and be a viewer of your account.

    If I was doing this, I’d go about it this way. It ensures that they receive individual instructions, and you can track their email addresses in the “past invitations” table. You will want to ensure you’re inviting them to be “viewers.”
