Invited Contributors Can't Post Unless They Register New Blog??

How does an invited user that has registered a username but not a blog make a new post on my blog?… Only invitees who have signed up for a new blog show up in my User tab. Invitees who register a new account without registering a new blog do NOT show up in my user tab.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I thought I had this problem too, but I left it for a day and within 24 hours the new contributor was showing up in my user tab. So it might take a little time to update, just keep checking back!

If your invitees without blogs do not appear in your users and 24 hours has passed I suggest you contact Staff directly using this link. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ -

I’ll try contacting support, because it’s been more than 24 hrs and my invited contributors have registered and can’t post.

To register for a username only, when the person is registering, they just make sure and click the box for username only. They have the choice of either that, or of also getting a blog during the registration process.

I know. We’ve done that and they’re not showing up in my User panel and not able to post. That’s the problem. -
Ok. I finally solved it. I didn’t realize that I needed to re-enter their email addresses on the User page under “Add User From Community” even though I had already invited them and checked the box “add user to my blog as contributor” and they had registered. Doesn’t make sense (duplicate step) and that step isn’t mentioned on the support page here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/ Maybe it’s a glitch with my browser: Safari 5.0.3. Is wordpress not Safari friendly?

I am having a difficult time figuring this out.
I am one of five volunteers who run Oslo Spiritual Film club and I created a private blog where we can talk about possible movies we would like to show in our club.
http://spirituellfilm.no/I went into the invitation area and created a test invitation which I sent to another e-mail address I am using. I clicked the link in the e.mail and came to wordpress.com where I had to create another blog and username, password, e-mail address.
I do not want to create another blog just have the specific person sign up so that I can add him to our blog.How do I get this to work?
Can I actually create other users so that I can send e-mails to the others with included username and password?

The other people in the club will have to have wordpress.COM accounts, but as stated above, they do not have to have a blog here, just a username and password.
You then add them via their usernames at settings > privacy.

This has been a lot of muddling.
What I figured out is this.Begin by opening my eyes.
Be sure to click the:
“Add user to my blog as a contributor” below the other info for inviting someone.On wordpress.com signup page:
Be sure to tell the others that they only need to click the “Sign up for just a username” if they do not want their own blog.Man this has been more difficult then I first thought. It seems my eyes were just not noticing the Sign up for just a username.
WordPress could make it so that one just skips filling in blog address without having to go to another page (or have both). If someone forgets to fill in the blog address they could just write a popup dialog box asking if the person wants to skip creating a blog.
