invited follower not receiving blog posts, how to remedy?

  I sent an invitation to a follower and my blogsite indicates that she accepted. However, she did not receive the invitation and is not receiving the email announcements when I post a blog. I tried to send her another invitation and I get a message saying she is already a follower. How can I remedy this?

  Hi there. Please ask her to check if the emails didn’t wind up in her spam/junk folder. If she uses Gmail another option is the Social tab of the inbox.

  If she can’t find the emails there either, please ask that follower to check her email notification settings.

  If she has her own WordPress.com account, she can check her notification settings on the Account Settings page (https://wordpress.com/me/notifications) and the notifications settings for your blog specifically in the Blogs I Follow section of the Reader (https://wordpress.com/following/edit/)

  If she does not have a WordPress.com account, she can check her notification settings and whether or not she’s subscribed on the Subscription Management page, here: https://subscribe.wordpress.com/
