invited users are not listed in all users even though they are accepted

Im having some problems with adding multiple users to jadarfelag.wordpress.com some portions of the blog will need special access priviledges to rent a summer house for a limited group. I have invited users, have them sign up for wp.com account without creating a blog and returnig to the e-mail to confirm. However, when they log in to jadarfelag.wordpress.com they are denied access to the dashboard. I have tried making them editors, contributors and even administrators. Also, they are listed as accepted under invite new users part but not showing under all users.

They all seem to be properly listed at Users in your blog’s Dashboard.
Would you please ask them to clear their browser’s cookies and cache?

Problem seems to be resolved by resending invitation.
Nevertheless I find that adding users in the wp.com system is not optimal.
i would like to have the option of creating the user accounts myself and send those to each individual.
