'invitee already has a place on your site'

  I sent someone an invite, they had difficulty signing in, finally successful, now there is no record of them being a viewer, no record of the time they accepted the invite offer. Finally when I invite them again, a message comes up they are already on the site. So, where are they actually? tks!
