invitees who accepted showing only as waiting

  I have invited two persons( one myself under another email) to become a reader of my blog. Both are receiving the email invitation, accepting the invitation, but they are not appearing as a user when I check. Any suggestions?

  Four other invitees are still in limbo, but I believe they have not yet accepted. PS two other invitees did accept and do show up as readers.

  Hi there. I see you have a private blog.

  First, people you invite will be required to register a WordPress.com username account, else they won’t be able to accept your invitation. They should also make sure that they’re logged in to their accounts when they click the link in the invitation email. (They can register a username account without having to register a blog.)

  Second, you don’t see the viewers of a private blog under Users, but under Settings ->Reading.

  I am pretty sure my readers did the first part. I also signed in( and created a separate WP account) under another screen name and I did show up as accepting under Users. The others have not shown up

  However i did go to settings as you suggested but get no possible tab or link for “Reading”

  I should have specified: the Settings ->Reading screen is on the WP-Admin dashboard, not the My Sites page. On the My Sites page, click the link titled WP-Admin (second one under your blog title in the sidebar). On that dashboard, as long as you’re logged in as admin, you should see the option for Settings with Reading as one of the sub-items.
