  I’d like for my blog to go out automatically to selected people when it’s posted. Is this what “Invites” does? If so, how do I set it up? Thanx!

  Hi. A quick search in the support documentation reveals that invites are to add users to a blog or to add viewers to a private blog.

  It looks like you are looking for subscriptions, and this is how your visitors can subscribe to your blog:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/blog-subscriptions/

  Thanx for the quick and helpful response. When I was with Blogger, I could enter the email addresses of up to ten people (with their permission, of course) and they would automatically receive my blog. Is that option available thru WP?

  There is no mass mailing type of Invitations provided by wordpress.com. You will find the individual Invites we can send out here > Dashboard > Users > Invites

  Yes.

  We have answered the “how do I get more readers” question thousands of times in the forum. Do a forum search for related terms and you will find those answers.
