invites for sharing

I am having a problem when I send a link to share it with someone it never gets received.
I added email as a form of sharing but still nothing.

How are your sending these links and what connection does whatever you are doing have to WordPress.COM? I’m asking because I see working sharing links at the bottom of your posts.

I checked my settings in my dashboard to make sure I could share a link by email.
I then proceeded to share this with my own email and it still does not go through.
I am working on a blog for my brother and am trying to share the site with others, but clearly I am new at this.

I checked and still…nothing.
This should be going through.
I really want to turn this blog over to my brother as soon as I can as he is so far away and feel he needs to be able to start posting his own things given the high profile.

I tested the e-mail sharing button and received the notification. Could you step by step explain what you are doing when sharing a post? perhaps also send us a screenshot. You can upload the screenshot to your blog’s media library.
